Assessment Packages & Fees

Payment plans are available.

£750 – Full ADHD Assessment (without follow-up support session)

This includes the full diagnostic assessment process but does not include the post-assessment 45-minute support session.

£800 – Full ADHD Assessment + 45-minute Support Session

This includes everything in the standard assessment plus a post-assessment session to debrief the findings, explore recommendations, and think about next steps.

Important:
The fee remains the same whether or not an ADHD diagnosis is ultimately reached.

What the Assessment Includes

1. Free Initial Consultation

A brief initial conversation to discuss your concerns, outline the process, and help you decide whether this assessment is the right fit for you, and whether I am the right fit for you too. After this there is absolutely no obligation to move forward with the full assessment.

2. Comprehensive Diagnostic Assessment

The full assessment package includes:

Mandatory Questionnaires (Multiple Sources)

  • You will be asked to complete a number of validated questionnaires in your own time. These are detailed questionnaires that some individuals find difficult to fill in as they are very lengthy. They can be started, and added to over time so that you can take regular breaks if you need to.

  • Some questionnaires must be completed by someone who knew you in childhood—for example a parent, sibling, aunt/uncle, or grandparent.
This is an essential and required part of the diagnostic process.

  • Some questionnaires may need to be filled in by someone who is actively in your life now e.g. close friends, partner etc.

Clinical Interview

  • A structured clinical interview conducted over two 1-hour sessions.

  • Sometimes the clinical interview may take longer or require additional time depending on complexity and need.

  • You are more than welcome to bring someone who knows you well to one or both of these sessions.

Full Diagnostic Report

A comprehensive written report including:

  • Results and clinical formulation

  • Diagnostic conclusions

  • Tailored recommendations

  • Guidance for next steps and support options

3. Optional 45-Minute Support & Debrief Session

Included in the £800 package.
We will discuss the report, answer questions, clarify recommendations, and consider a pathway forward.

Important Information to Be Aware Of

NHS Right to Choose

I am a private provider and not part of the NHS Right to Choose pathway.

Prescribing & Shared Care

I am not a prescriber and cannot offer:

  • Medication

  • Medication titration

  • Shared care agreements

If medication is something you are considering, this would need to be arranged through your GP, NHS mental health services, or a private prescriber.

GP Acceptance of Private Assessments

While many GPs are open to receiving private ADHD assessments, some GPs do not accept assessments or diagnoses made by private practitioners. This varies by practice and region.
It is important to be aware of this before beginning the process, especially if you are hoping to explore medication through the NHS.

What to Expect Emotionally

ADHD assessment is a detailed and often deeply reflective process. Many people find that it can:

  • Feel overwhelming due to the number of questionnaires

  • Bring up past memories or trauma

  • Highlight long-standing difficulties

  • Create uncertainty around the potential outcome

Whether you receive a diagnosis or not, both outcomes can bring a mix of emotions—relief, disbelief, validation, grief, frustration, or sadness. This is completely normal.

Before starting the assessment, please consider:

  • Whether you feel emotionally ready for this process

  • Whether you have adequate support in place

  • Whether you can commit time and energy to completing the questionnaires

  • How you may feel about either outcome (diagnosis or no diagnosis)

After the Assessment

Regardless of the final diagnosis, I can offer psychological support to help you:

  • Understand your strengths and challenges

  • Learn strategies for managing symptoms

  • Build routines and organisational skills

  • Navigate work, study, or relational challenges

  • Improve emotional regulation and wellbeing
